P.P. Y Strainer – Screwed / Flanged End – Specifications

The P.P. Y Strainer – Screwed / Flanged End is made by Universal Valves Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, part of the Universal Group, which has manufactured industrial valves since 1972. A Y type strainer removes rust, scale, weld spatter and other debris from the line with a cylindrical screen. This protects downstream pumps, meters, control valves and steam traps. The angled screen leg can be cleaned through a cover without disturbing the pipework.

Polypropylene (PP) is a lightweight thermoplastic with excellent resistance to many acids, alkalis and salts. It is ideal for corrosive liquids at moderate temperatures.
