The P.P. Diaphragm Valve – Screwed / Flanged End is made by Universal Valves Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, part of the Universal Group, which has manufactured industrial valves since 1972. A diaphragm valve closes by pressing a flexible diaphragm onto a weir. The diaphragm isolates the operating mechanism from the fluid, so it handles corrosive, abrasive and hygienic media without leakage to atmosphere.

Polypropylene (PP) is a lightweight thermoplastic with excellent resistance to many acids, alkalis and salts. It is ideal for corrosive liquids at moderate temperatures.
