The M.S. Fabricated Y Type Strainer – Flanged ASA 150# is made by Universal Valves Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, part of the Universal Group, which has manufactured industrial valves since 1972. A Y type strainer removes rust, scale, weld spatter and other debris from the line with a cylindrical screen. This protects downstream pumps, meters, control valves and steam traps. The angled screen leg can be cleaned through a cover without disturbing the pipework.
Mild steel fabricated construction is robust and economical, and can be built in large sizes for strainers, sight glasses and utility valves.
