The Investment Casting Spring Loaded Vertical Check Valve – Screwed End (SS 304) is made by Universal Valves Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, part of the Universal Group, which has manufactured industrial valves since 1972. A spring loaded vertical (in-line) check valve uses a spring-assisted poppet that closes quickly when forward flow stops, so it can be fitted in vertical lines with upward flow as well as horizontal lines.

Investment (lost wax) casting gives a dense, smooth body with accurate dimensions and a fine surface finish. CF8 is the cast equivalent of SS 304 and CF8M the cast equivalent of SS 316. CF8M contains molybdenum for better resistance to chlorides, acids and pitting.
