The Forged Stainless Steel F-304 / F-316 Gate Valve 800# – Screwed / Socket Weld / Flanged is made by Universal Valves Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, part of the Universal Group, which has manufactured industrial valves since 1972. Forged steel gate valves are built for small-bore, high-pressure and high-temperature service. Forging gives a dense, defect-free body that is stronger and more reliable than a casting of the same size.
Forged bodies (ASTM A105 carbon steel, A182 F304/F316 stainless or F11/F22 alloy steel) are dense and free from casting defects. This makes them the preferred choice for small-bore, high-pressure and high-temperature lines.
