Product Overview

The Forged Carbon Steel A-105 Piston Valve 800# – Screwed End is made by Universal Valves Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, part of the Universal Group, which has manufactured industrial valves since 1972. A piston valve isolates flow with a stainless steel piston sliding between two resilient sealing rings instead of a disc on a seat. There is no metal-to-metal seating, so there is little wear and the valve stays leak-tight for years on steam service.

Forged bodies (ASTM A105 carbon steel, A182 F304/F316 stainless or F11/F22 alloy steel) are dense and free from casting defects. This makes them the preferred choice for small-bore, high-pressure and high-temperature lines.
