The Cast Iron Rubber Lined Diaphragm Valve – Flanged End is made by Universal Valves Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, part of the Universal Group, which has manufactured industrial valves since 1972. A diaphragm valve closes by pressing a flexible diaphragm onto a weir. The diaphragm isolates the operating mechanism from the fluid, so it handles corrosive, abrasive and hygienic media without leakage to atmosphere.

Cast iron is a strong, economical body material with good damping and wear resistance. It is the standard choice for water, utility and low-pressure services.
