The SS 304 / SS 316 Y Type Flush Bottom Valve – Flanged ASA 150#, Outside Opening is made by Universal Valves Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, part of the Universal Group, which has manufactured industrial valves since 1972. A Y type flush bottom valve mounts on the bottom nozzle of a reactor and drains the vessel completely. In the outside opening design, the piston moves away from the tank to open.
Stainless steel gives excellent corrosion resistance and hygiene. SS 202 is an economical grade for general service, SS 304 is the all-round grade, and SS 316 adds molybdenum for chlorides and aggressive chemicals.
